5 church Atlanta
Location: 1197 Peachtree St NE #528 Atlanta, GA 30361
Food: The beauty and décor of this restaurant allured me since it opening! Like a kid in a candy store, I was excited to try out the menu and have my own 5 church experience. Early evening, I checked out the restaurant and ordered drinks, appetizers and an entrée. I started with the signature viper cocktail and then the wild berry mojito. Both cocktails were well balanced, subtly sweet and slightly strong. Just the way I liked it! (The cocktails range from $11-$13 each.) I ordered the shrimp flatbread, hand cut fries and the lamb burger. The appetizers were scrumptious, the shrimp flatbread was tasty, sizable, and was big enough to eat as an entrée. The hand cut fries were well-seasoned, served hot, tasty and was paired with an aioli and ketch-up sauce. The Lamb burger was savory, tender, and served on a toasted sesame seed bun smeared with a red onion marmalade gorgonzola fondue, and arugula. YUM! The food and the drinks were delectable . The restaurant although beautiful was empty, and I was the only one in the restaurant. Needless to say I had great customer service and the bartender was attentive and extremely nice.
